Citizens in Support of Dr. Williams

A number of things occurred in tonight’s school board meeting that are directly related to Dr. Williams.

1. The board voted 5-2 to inform Dr. Williams that his contract would not be renewed through 6/2010
2. The board voted 4-3 to have Bailey preside over hearing even though he’s likely tainted in his perspective and view of the situation
3. Steve Maple requested the hearing be made public as Dr. Williams has given up his rights to a private hearing because he feels the proceedings should be public and the accusations made available for everyone to know. Susan Adams disagreed for the witnesses sake and fear they would be persecuted by the public.
