I guess my question is if this will cause them to put their heads higher up into the dark place and settle in for the big fight, or will they have an epiphany? Their response to the public, administrators, and teachers has been to ridicule and dismiss. Their response to their lawyer's suggestion to back off was to hire more lawyers. Will it take legislative intervention to get them to stop? OK. Exactly when did their lawyer suggest to “back off”?

Those weren't the exact words, but he did say that a proposal to cancel Dr. Williams' contract was premature. He's dis-engaging himself from the 'investigation' part of representing the board, which was brought up at the meeting. He didn't find anything in 3 months, so taxpayers will be paying other lawyers to go through the same stuff. Whatever. Last week. I have received no answer to that question. Maybe someone else will have better luck. I will post Mr. Nichols and Mrs. Adams e-mail addresses at the bottom of this message for anyone wanting to attempt to get an answer. Many people do not even attempt to go to PTEC for the meetings because they know that unless they get there 60-90 minutes early, they will be shut out of the meeting and stuck in the overflow area (the gymnasium). I would hope that the board leadership would not be purposefully trying to limit access to these public meetings but one does have to wonder. Good luck to anyone trying to get an answer about this.
