There were a number of statements made by board members this evening talking about the threatening and malicious e-mails they have received from Dr. William’s supporters. I have been told that e-mails sent to school board members about school board activities are public record and should be available for review by the general public.
I am pursuing an official, legal request for these e-mails to be supplied to me so that I can post them on this website. Again, I’m interested in getting the facts and the details. I will tell you that my goal right now is to get the text of the e-mails received and post them. If at all possible I will contact the individuals that sent the e-mails and verify that they were sent while protecting their own privacy, although part of me would love to post the senders so everyone knows exactly who’s responsible for this despicable behaviour. If you can’t say something to someone’s face, then don’t e-mail them those same comments. If you’re a William’s supporter consider this a warning, please have some integrity and respect for others and DO NOT participate in this behaviour!
I’ll be e-mailing all the members of the board asking for them to submit to me any of the vulgar e-mails they’ve received. I know they’ve been received on both sides of the issues, so I’m interested to see what board members are actually willing to share this public information with me and the visitors to this site.
I sent all the board members an e-mail as a concerned parent here in Perry Township. It was an e-mail that questioned the actions that have been taken. Immediately,I received a very nice response from both Mr. Maple and Mrs. Buffie. The four women that this issue surrounds never responded. My e-mail was not threatening, but did deserve a response. We all deserve a response to the actions they are taking at our children’s expense. These 4 women aren’t listening to anyone. Threatening of anytype is unexcusable, but these women are putting themselves in the position to receive it because they are treating Perry Township residents very rudely by not playing fair.
I sent an email to all the board members I too got a response from the three that have been in favor of Dr Williams, I never received any thing from the 4. I in turn sent an email to the 4 about a week later, asking why no response because we all deserve to know what is going on. Nothing threatening but let them know that to be able to stand by them I’d have to know the facts, the true cold hard facts. I yet to see those I have to support Dr Williams and the facts that he has set before us. Those facts would be that he has lead these schools to where they are today, or should I say where they were yesterday.
